![]() ![]() That is if we cutoff 4 cells on the left where traditionally 1 vertical road is put and all 2x3 and 3x3 buildings (and fusions before Omega arrived). ![]() We do take into account the existance of Maxis Manor (it is minmaxing we are talking about, ofc we will use those).Ĥ Maxis Manors are just enough to cover the "original land" of the capital (it was enlarged 18 cells to the right in total over 2 updates). To simplify this, I will take the following approach: let's say we cover the entire map with the same kind of buildings (either full omega or full epic), how many of the cells we need to dedicate to coverage services? This is a lot more difficult task, because you can fit more or less buildings in the same coverage depending on whether you also put specialisations or not. Ok, now this is out of the way, lets talk coverage services. ![]() So, obviously, omega buildings will require you to have more services, in total for epics you need to cover 3.375% of your land with services, for omega you need to cover 21.875% of your land with services. *Omega water pump is 1x1 instead of 2x2, so in 6x4 spot you can put up to 16 of those instead of 6, following the pattern below (W - pump, R - road): If we use omega power station, omega water pump etc, then we get the following: Next, we need to take into account, that base and epic buildings both require 1 of each services to function whereas omega buildings require 5 of each. Same goes for Epic buildings, they don't drop below 130. It is hanging mostly around 138.5-139.5 mark. I tested some more, the numbers in the game are different from res building menu, it is never 140% or above 140% for omega buildings. So, so far Omega buildings win with 8% extra population over epic buildings, right? So I have researched recently on which should I build to maximise my population in capital (aiming for 10+ millions).įirst, cell population (random cell in my city where all buildings work):
